Blue Badger Wholesale
Blue Badger Wholesale: Digital Transformation in B2B eCommerce
Blue Badger Wholesale is the go-to wholesaler for dealers in commercial catering, laundry and refrigeration equipment. Like many businesses in the sector, they recognised that ageing digital infrastructure was holding them back – and that meaningful change required more than a quick fix.
Partnering with B2B eCommerce consultancy Rixxo, Blue Badger embarked on an ambitious transformation project. Eight weeks of research, workshops and planning laid the groundwork for a complete overhaul of their eCommerce platform – designed around the needs of their customers, their team, and their long-term growth strategy.
The results have been significant. Online sales now account for a much larger share of total revenue, active web users have grown substantially, and the business has seen healthy turnover growth in the year following launch. Customer experience has improved dramatically, with self-service features reducing pressure on the customer service team and freeing staff to focus on higher-value work.
Blue Badger’s transformation has set a new benchmark for digital maturity in the commercial catering wholesale sector – and with further development planned, the business is well placed to stay ahead of the competition.

Shoptimised
Shoptimised relaunched its website to better reflect the business eight years on. As the brand, product offer, and market position evolved, the previous site no longer represented Shoptimised clearly enough. The goal of the relaunch was to create a website that was cleaner, more informative, easier to navigate, and a more accurate reflection of the business today.
The redesign was built around three core principles: clarity, usability, and credibility. The new site makes it, easier for retailers, agencies, and prospective partners to understand what Shoptimised does, how its solutions fit together, and where they can find the information most relevant to them. Navigation was simplified, messaging was sharpened, and stronger proof points were brought to the surface to better reflect the maturity of the brand.
The relaunch also gave Shoptimised a clearer way to present its wider offer across Feed Optimisation, Incremental Sales, Spotlight, CSS, and supporting technology. More than a visual refresh, the new website gives the business better structure, more focused messaging, and a platform that better supports how Shoptimised presents, sells, and grows today.
