Strands, a hair care company, partnered with Solwey Consulting in order to develop LIMS software and custom Shopify Themes for their customer journey. Strands offers a unique service — tailoring products through molecular hair analysis, scalp condition and lifestyle factors. The company’s audience is anyone who is seeking a more personalized haircare experience.
Solwey Consulting developed the company’s website using completely customized Shopify themes and a proprietary lab information management system (LIMS), empowering the site to serve as an educational and engaging hub for customers.
The website showcases Strands’ cutting-edge methodology and dedication to personalized care, inviting visitors to explore the intriguing realm of its tailored hair care science. The website provides a smooth user experience with a clear, inviting design that simplifies the complex science underpinning Strands’ services, thus empowering customers to make knowledgeable decisions about their hair care.
After Solwey developed the Strands site, they built the sister site, The Hair Lab by Strands, which is now being sold at Walmart. Solwey’s custom UX/UI helped Strands grow from B2B to B2C and into national stores.
