DeliveryMatch – Real-Time Chain Control as CO2 Emission Saver
The DeliveryMatch Order, Transport, and Shipping Management Software increases eCommerce sales by calculating and showing reliable delivery options, costs and CO2 emission in the webshop checkout in real-time. This increases the conversion and retention, thus sales. At the same time the software reduces logistic costs because one can manage the transport costs (buy and sell) influence the custumer to get delivered in low volume periods and the drop hit rate will increase up to 95%. This already saves a lot of CO2 Emission because of ‘doing the things first time right’. ALSO you can let the platform fully automated select and execute the shipping options with the lowest CO2 emission, and/or show the CO2 emission per delivery option in the webshop checkout in order te be able to let the customer choose the option with the lowest CO2 Emission. Also the logistic capacity in the complete chain (warehouse and transport) is managed already as from the purchase moment up to the delivery moment. DeliveryMatch as Sales Engine & Costs + CO2 Emission Saver.
GPMD – Ebook: Sustainability in Ecommerce
Our content marketing campaign focused on promoting sustainability in the ecommerce industry through an engaging and informative ebook that featured real brands and what they are focused on doing to become more sustainable. Our aim was to educate and inspire ecommerce businesses about the importance of adopting sustainable practices in their operations and show them different challenges and how they could tackle them. The ebook showcased GPMD’s clients (Rodial, Tangle Teezer, Balance Me, The Fish Society and Paxton & Whitfield) and shared their stories, providing valuable insights, practical tips, and real-life case studies to support sustainable ecommerce.
For GPMD, sustainability is also at the forefront of our marketing efforts. For our merchandising and gifts, we opt for ethically sourced and sustainable gifts or reusable merchandise (e. g. stainless steel water bottles) or donate to charity. To promote this ebook specifically, we have created flyers made from seed paper that can be planted after use, which is something we plan to roll out for future campaigns as well. We also hosted an event for our clients to share their thoughts on sustainability, which was incredibly well-received and allowed an open forum for them to brainstorm possibilities.
Intersoft
Intersoft, a growing carrier management and B2B SaaS (software as a service) provider, is committed to becoming a more sustainable and environmentally conscious business by aiming to plant one hundred thousand trees by 2025. Being at the centre of eCommerce, Intersoft is aware that the industry’s cost to the environment is becoming more relevant, with waste through returns reaching extreme levels.
To help tackle the climate crisis, Intersoft are planting 50 trees for every million shipping labels they produce, as well as a further 10 trees every month on behalf of each employee to minimize their carbon impact. To date, Intersoft have planted over 7,000 trees and removed 76 tonnes of CO2 per year. This is in conjunction with initiatives to enable sustainable commuting to the office through Electric Car and cycle schemes, and finding renewable energy sources for Intersoft’s offices and infrastructure. Intersoft believes that every part of the jigsaw to reduce their environmental footprint is essential, and by giving back to the environment, a more sustainable future for the eCommerce industry can be built.
